Meet the Team: QLer Rachel

Keeping up with our Meet the Team series, Rachel joined the team late last year to head up our marketing department. Since then, she has not only whipped our online presence into shape and fostered many successful events and relationships, but she has also biked over 4000 miles. Between Quick Left and racing her bike, she is also one of 3 partners who created Colorado Women's Cycling Project. Rachel's life is a rhythm of bikes, bikes, bikes, beers and now – code: the guys and gals are teaching her what they know. While the Tennessee accent doesn't come through over twitter, catch her if you can @missbikesalot.

  1. What is your favorite thing to eat? Chocolate, I walk to PLC nearly everyday to eat two truffles (and a bunch of free samples)

  2. What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey and Smashing Pumpkins “Tonight, Tonight.”

  3. What is one of your favorite quotes? “Sweet is the pleasure after pain.” I think about that during every workout or race. Good for getting through life’s challenges, too.

  4. If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?” what would it be? “Who killed Tupac?”

  5. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? Well, I did a celebrity look-alike generator and it came up as Richard Dreyfuss, so I’m going to go with Alicia Silverstone.

  6. What is your favorite form of exercise? I’m @MissBikesAlot so cycling of course! But I can’t get through a day without getting in my hot yoga.

  7. What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year? Favorite time of day is when I’m drinking morning coffee. Favorite day of the week is Saturday because I get to sleep in AND stay up late. Favorite month of the year is September because it has by far the best weather in Colorado (except this September)

  8. The best part of waking up is…? The smell of espresso! I wouldn’t get out of bed otherwise.

  9. Favorite gif?
