Meet the Team: QLer Nathan Jantz

Nathan joins the Quick Left team in Boulder as a software developer.
He is originally from Kansas but has been living in the Boulder area for the past 26 years, so he practically feels like a Colorado native at this point. Nathan loves web development and has been programming professionally for about 16 years. He never gets bored because being in the field requires a constant state of learning as the technology relentlessly changes at a rapid pace.
Outside of software development, Nathan’s other passion is music. He loves all kinds of music but has been producing his own electronic music for more than 20 years. Nathan loves synthesizers and drum machines and has released music under various aliases over the years with the most current project being “Normal Ones” with his partner Jahnavi. They are also known to play the occasional live show. In recent years, Nathan has been dabbling with producing visual content for live shows and music videos including a couple of collaborative efforts with internationally acclaimed artist, Atom™.
Nathan considers himself a patron of the arts as he’s been organizing and producing electronic music events since the mid-nineties in Colorado including acting as both the technical director and co-curator of the CMKY Festival of Electronic Arts in addition to countless one-off events over the years. Nathan is an avid collector of music (vinyl of course) and has been known to DJ events from time to time.
