So we had a hackfest the other night, and it rocked. With pizza, beer, and nerd-chat, what could go wrong?
We started off with some post-workday socializing then dove in to a great discussion about how people are utilizing testing to help them with their projects. A few in the room were doing true BDD, or test-first development, others are using a hybrid technique, and of course some are still not testing at all (tsk tsk!). One good statistic that got called out was, for a recent project, the developers had written 2.5 lines of test code for every 1 line of application code. Right on!
Thanks again to the crews at Pivotal Labs, Collective Intellect, Viget, and GB Studios for helping out!
