jQuery Toronto: Coming in hot

Quick Left likes JavaScript, that's no secret. What has been a secret until this very blog post is that we're international evangelists, and as such are sending Sam and Alex to speak at jQueryTO on March 2nd and 3rd.

This time around we're sharing some knowledge about our larger JavaScript applications and what we've learned from them.

We'll see you at #Gluecon!

This week, Quick Left will be descending on Gluecon! Gluecon is a conference for developers and business people of all sorts, covering a wide range of topics from cloud storage and management to mobile app development. With a unique focus on the developers themselves, Gluecon is sure to be a good time.

I'll be there both days (May 23-24), thanks to the efforts of the lovely Laura Merling (@magicmerl) and Alcatel-Lucent. Because of the recent controversies regarding gender in the tech industry, Laura offerred to buy a handful of female developers passes to Gluecon. As if I wasn't enough, I'll be accompanied by Ingrid Alongi (@electromute) on the 23rd, and Becca Gallery (@beccagallery) on the 24th.

Gluecon is in Broomfield, CO, at the Omni Interlocken Resort. If you're going and want to say hi, feel free to get ahold of me by tweeting me at @jessicardillon!

Representin' Boulder in the Big Apple at Likeable U

The Quick Left team is all over the map these days. Literally. Rachel and Ingrid are in Nebraska for Big Omaha, and by the time they get back on Monday, I'll be in New York City during Internet Week to sit on a panel at Likeable U with our friends from TechStars - both old and new.

I'll be joining Kelly Rice, Kinvey, Lauren Appelwick, Shelby.tv, Dan Herman, ChatID, and our moderator Clare Tischer, TechStars. Clare plans to make our event the best of the conference. I'll be doing my best to keep up with the rest of the panel.

I'm in NYC Monday the 14th and for the conference Tuesday the 15th - drop me a line if you'd like to grab a cup of coffee.

Most importantly, I'm looking for recommendations for eateries in the Chelsea-ish area - the cheaper, dirtier, and sketchier, the better. Seriously - this is the most important thing aside from the conference itself - recommendations in the comments would be hugely appreciated.
